365project

I've never been much of a photographer. Most of the time I take my camera with me and then never get it out to use it. Having a decent quality camera on my phone has changed that. I'm still not taking wonderful pictures, but at least I'm taking pictures! Now, I just need to up the quality of my work.
I've signed up to 365project.org so that I can be more focused in my photography (if you can call what I do photography!) and more accountable for doing something with the photos I do take. Based on the fact that I've also signed up for the blogging challenge, I'm thinking it says something about my need for accountability...I probably should think about how that need for accountability can be taken to my teaching. The kids in my classroom would probably benefit from the same kind of challenge and accountability that works for me. I'll have to think about what that will look like.

Here's the link to my "project."  I just got a list of weekly themes to help with ideas.  This week's theme is macro.  I will throw in an occasional theme-based photo on days when I don't know what else to add.  Most of the time, though, I would like to just take pictures of my days- although the theme can incorporate that.  We'll see.  My biggest goal is just to keep at it, so maybe I should just leave it at that!
